A Floating Studio

The artist will re-enact JMW Turner’s heroism by tying himself to the mast of his Floating Studio.
Whist on the studio he will perform readings of the stories painted on it. The handcrafted raft will be launched from Brighton Beach on Sat 5th May, the same day as the launch of the Brighton Fringe Festival 2007.
The Floating Studio will then be transported to the gallery and exhibited with a film of the performance.
